Ampere Nexus: Greaves Electric Mobility Pvt. Ltd. (GEMPL), the e-mobility arm of Greaves Cotton Ltd., today launched its first high-performance family electric scooter, Ampere Nexus, with a starting price of Rs. 1,09,900, ex-showroom. The company said here that Ampere Nexus is completely designed, developed and manufactured in India. Many new features and features have been given in this scooter for the first time. Ampere Nexus Zanskar is available in four colors namely Aqua, Indian Red, Lunar White and Steel Grey. High performance and family focused features redefine the electric scooter experience. This scooter sets new standards in comfort, style, performance, intelligence and safety.
Executive Director and CEO of the company K. Vijay Kumar said, “The launch of the Ampere Nexus high-speed electric scooter is a major milestone in our commitment towards sustainable transportation. With every step towards popularizing e-mobility, we are moving towards a more inclusive, eco-friendly future. Ampere Nexus is built for people who are ready to take charge of their everyday ambitions.”
He said that with a 3kWh battery with 30 per cent additional battery life and a powerful mid-mount drive, this e-scooter delivers the riding experience with its 4kW peak motor power. With five riding modes, front discbrake and IP67 rating, the rider can easily ride this scooter in all terrains and weather conditions, including flood conditions. This scooter has also been certified in a pre-launch ride of 10,000 kilometers from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. This scooter gives a certified range of 136 kilometers per charge.
Attractive color option
Ampere Nexus has been introduced in 4 attractive color options like Janskar Aqua, Indian Red, Lunar White and Steel Grey. This electric scooter has a 3 kWh LFP battery, which according to the company’s claim has 30 percent extra battery life. Its electric motor generates peak power of 4 kW. You can charge this electric scooter at home in 3 hours 22 minutes. By fully charging the battery of Ampere Nexus, you can get a range of 136 kilometers. At the same time, its top speed is 93 kmph.
