TVS Raider 125: In India, TVS Raider 125 has revolutionised the perception of the 125cc motorcycle segment by buyers. The Raider instead of being only a mileage-focused commuter, offers a rare blend of sporty performance, sharp styling and high fuel efficiency. Since its launch, it has been a top choice for riders who want a fun bike for daily use without sacrificing practicality.
Engine
The TVS Raider 125 comes with a powerful and smooth 124.8cc single-cylinder engine that is able to produce 11.38 PS and 11.2 Nm of torque. This makes it one of the fastest motorcycles in its class, with a 0-60 km/h time of less than six seconds. Despite this impressive performance, the bike still offers excellent fuel efficiency in real-world conditions. Riders in urban areas usually attain around 56 kmpl of fuel during their daily rides. The Raider also provides two riding modes: Eco for the utmost efficiency and Power for faster response, thus making the bike apt for both easy-going and aggressive riding.

Design
One of the greatest things about the Raider 125 is its design. It does not resemble an ordinary commuter motorcycle at all. The tank with an intricate design, sporty panels and the aggressive stance give it a look similar to that of a premium street bike. The full LED headlamp with its distinctive shape gives the bike a daring, contemporary look. Furthermore, the bike is equipped with a gas-charged monoshock at the rear, a rare feature in this segment, providing the benefit of better handling and comfort over bumpy roads.
Features
The Raider is a motorcycle that displays characteristics that are often found in more expensive segments. The full-digital instrument cluster seen across all variants provides straightforward information, while the most expensive model features a 5-inch TFT console equipped with TVS SmartXonnect. This technology contributes Bluetooth pairing, voice command and Turn-by-Turn Navigation, thus simplifying the process of riding every day. Moreover, the scooter-like under-seat storage and the USB mobile charger have been introduced as additional convenience features. The iGO (IntelliGo) stop-start technology contributes to the overall efficiency by cutting off the engine during short periods of inactivity and then restarting it instantaneously with the input of the throttle.

Price
TVS has available the Raider 125 in three primary variants. The Drum variant commences at about ₹80,500 ex-showroom Delhi with a digitally controlled cluster and a single seat design as the only features. The Split Seat Disc version, which costs about ₹90,500, comes along with a boarding brake that is a bit more comforting and has a less race-like seating arrangement. The top-spec TFT Dual Disc variant, which costs around ₹95,600, also comprises the high-end TFT display with SmartXonnect and dual front brakes. The pricing scheme that has been applied puts the Raider 125 among the most desirable performance commuters with best-value ratio in the market.
