Tata Sierra Launched Today – 5 Things You Need to Know

Tata Sierra – The all-new Tata Sierra 2025 has just been officially unveiled in India. As a luxury mid-size SUV, it brings back the classic Sierra nameplate with a contemporary design, state-of-the-art features, and a variety of powertrain choices.

Design

The Sierra represents a fusion of the past and the present. Starting with the front, it features a narrow grille, LED headlights that are connected, a glossy black grille, an imposing bumper with a silver skid plate, and Sierras name. The silhouette of the vehicle has been further enhanced with alpine windows, door handles that are flush with the body, 19 inches of sport alloy wheels, and a rear end that is flat and is provided with LED lights that are connected. It comes in six colors, which are given to the different kinds of customers.

Interior 

The Sierra has a great internal feature of a three-screen setup that includes an instrument cluster display, entertainment display for the accompanying driver, and infotainment display. In addition to the panoramic sunroof and a four-spoke steering wheel, the soundbar, wide rear seats, and plenty of legroom create a luxurious and inviting atmosphere. Among the features are included a 12-speaker JBL sound system, powered & ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, wireless phone charging, ambient lighting, and a cooled glovebox.

Safety

Tata is very serious about safety by providing six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC), tyre pressure monitoring, a 360-degree camera, hill hold assist, ISOFIX anchors, and front/rear parking sensors. The level 2 ADAS system includes adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, and automatic emergency braking.

Engine

In the ICE launch, the Sierra will have a petrol powertrain: 1.5-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol, 170 PS, 280 Nm, 6-speed MT & 7-speed DCT Diesel: 1.5-litre diesel, 118 PS, 260 Nm, 6-speed MT & 7-speed DCT an electric vehicle version will be available soon after the launch of the internal combustion engine version.

Price & Rivals

The price range is anticipated to be from about Rs 12 lakhs to Rs 25 lakhs (ex-showroom). The Sierra will challenge Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Maruti Victoris, Honda Elevate, and Skoda Kushaq in the market.
