Tata Sierra 2025 – The Tata Sierra 2025 comes back with a very strong mechanical package featuring a range of engine options, improved suspension, and practical dimensions that can be used successfully in both urban and highway driving. The 11.49 lakh rupees price (ex-showroom) for the SUV will be taking bookings on the 16th of December, 2025, while the first deliveries will be on 15th January 2026. Modern design and interior with the Sierra’s technical upgrades make it one of the most advanced products of Tata yet.
Hyperion engine
The 1.5L TGDi Hyperion engine is the performance-oriented variant in the Sierra lineup. It delivers 160 PS at 5000 rpm and 255 Nm of torque between 1750 and 4000 rpm. The 6-speed automatic gearbox partnered with this engine provides good throttle response and seamless power creation which is perfect for driving in the city as well as for highway cruising.

Revotron petrol engine
The 1.5L NA Revotron petrol engine is a naturally aspirated engine that has been calibrated for leisurely and steady performance. It generates 106 PS at 6000 rpm and 145 Nm at 2100 rpm, thereby providing the driver with a rather well-balanced driving experience. The engine is offered with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission; thus, the customer can decide between classic control and contemporary ease.
Kryojet diesel engine
The 1.5L Kryojet diesel engine has the aspects of efficiency and abundant torque performance. It generates 118 PS at 4000 rpm and delivers 260 Nm to the 6-speed manual transmission and a stronger 280 Nm to the automatic. This engine configuration is aimed at the users doing long-distance drives who want the diesel experience of smoothness and sophistication along with the reliability of power.

Dimensions
Sierra was designed in such a way that it would give the driver the feeling of a very convenient spaciousness besides being easy to drive. Its dimensions are 4340 mm in length, 1841 mm in width and 1715 mm in height, plus a wheelbase of 2730 mm that guarantees stability. The SUV has a luggage compartment of 622 liters, which can be increased to 1257 liters by folding the back seats. A 50-liter gas tank allows you to make longer trips with fewer stops for refueling.
Suspension
The whole suspension system has been designed for the maximum comfort along with control. In the front, an independent lower wishbone with McPherson struts and coil springs is used, while the back is a semi-independent twist beam layout. The upper levels such as Adventure+, Accomplished and Accomplished+ are fitted with Frequency Dependent Damping at both front and rear, which gets the ride quality smoothly even on the rough surfaces. The disc brakes on all wheels ensure that the braking power will never be a problem.

Certification
The Tata Sierra 2025’s powertrain and performance specifications have been forwarded for ARAI certification. Such approval will mean that the SUV is completely ready for the market in terms of efficiency and safety regulations which is the last option before sending units to customers.
