Royal Enfield Bullet 650 – The famous Royal Enfield Bullet has taken a step officially into the future with new Bullet650’s first appearance at Motoverse 2025 in Goa. The Bullet has now moved to the retro middleweight segment with more power and modern upgrades after 93 years of legacy while still holding on to its timeless heritage.
Design
The Bullet 650 is true to the classic Bullet character with its distinct design. It still features the Tiger Eye pilot lamps, a one-piece seat, a squared-up rear fender, a round headlight, and chrome accents, hand-painted pinstripes and the famous 3D winged “Royal Enfield” tank badge. All these aspects give the bike a vintage look but at the same time make it more upscale. Additionally, retro-modern amenities like complete LED lighting, a semi-digital meter, and a USB Type-C charging outlet contribute to the day-to-day usability without losing the charm of the old.

Engine
The Bullet motorcycle is powered by the renowned 648cc parallel-twin, oil-fed engine from Royal Enfield. It outputs 46.5 bhp and 52.3 Nm of torque as well as a 6-speed transmission fitted with a slip-and-assist clutch, thus ensuring smoother gear shifting. Fuel injection and electric starter make sure the engine runs well and the bike can be easily ridden under any condition.

Performance
The Bullet 650 mechanically shares its engine with the Classic 650, which guarantees equal comfort and control. It has a 43mm telescopic front fork and twin rear shock absorbers, which can easily take rough terrains. A front 320mm disc and a rear 300mm disc with dual-channel ABS provide stopping power and safety respectively. The bike has a 19-inch front and an 18-inch rear wheel, which gives it a steady posture on highways and in city traffic. The bike weighs 243kg, but still, the 800mm seat height gives a comfortable and accessible riding position for most riders.
Price
The official pricing announcement is expected soon. However, industry speculation suggests that the Royal Enfield Bullet 650 will be positioned slightly below the Classic 650, which is priced at ₹3.61 lakh (ex-showroom). This makes the Bullet 650 a strong competitor in the retro 650cc motorcycle category.
