Design

The Bigster has a rugged and sporty character inherited from the new Duster which speaks through the muscular body, Y-shaped LED headlamps, and bold wheel arch claddings. Additionally, the SUV’s high ground clearance of about 220mm also contributes to its off-road capability, while the overall size is designed in a way that it has a powerful presence on roads. The exterior design clearly communicates toughness but at the same time, it does not compromise on providing a pleasant look for city driving. Therefore, it is capable of attracting two types of buyers: the ones who are after adventure and the ones who are looking for a sophisticated lifestyle.

Interior

On the inside, Bigster is going to have a futuristic, tech-friendly cabin. The Indian version of the SUV will likely include two digital displays, one being a 10.1 inches touchscreen infotainment system and the other being 10 inches digital instrument cluster. The seven occupants will all have a lovely environment around them, thanks to the comfort-oriented features like panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, and premium seating. Also, it is expected that advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) will be available, thus increasing safety and convenience in driving, whether in the city or on the highway.

Powertrain

Renault is believed to provide a variety of powertrain selections in India. One of the anticipated options is the 1.3-liter turbo-petrol flex-fuel engine which is likely to generate around 160 bhp and 270 Nm torque, and it will be mated to a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The upper trims will perhaps have a 4×4 drivetrain that will give the drivers a choice of modes: Snow, Mud/Sand, Off-Road, Normal, and Eco. The introduction of mild-hybrid will not only help in making the car more fuel-efficient but also allow for smooth and noiseless starts which will ultimately be contributing to a better driving experience.

Capability

The Bigster, however, is in no way oversized for the urban jungle or mountains and rough terrains. It will do the turbocharged gasoline engine’s quickness of response at the highest level while hybrid variations will probably provide the driving experience of smooth, quiet, and efficient fuel consumption. The AWD with driving modes that you can switch will also grant you the comfortable cornering confidence even in most difficult terrains, thus the car is perfect for family holidays, quick getaways, and everyday driving.

Flexibility

The Bigster, being a 7-passenger SUV, provides very spacious cabins plus several options for seating arrangements which will ensure that the whole family can fit in it comfortably. Besides, there will be enough room for the company’s luggage plus you can fold the rear seats if you need more space for nick-nacks from your adventures. Its high ground clearance in addition to an SUV outcome enable easy access and exit, and furthermore, the ingenious storage solutions in the ride help keep the ‘traveling with the kids’ stuff orderly.

Price

Renault Bigster is going to be priced between ₹1.3 million to ₹1.8 million (Ex-showroom) which will make it a great competition against the Hyundai Alcazar, Tata Safari, and Mahindra XUV700. The Bigster with its tough look, high-tech equipment, adaptable seating, and powerful engines is going to be a big player in India’s 7-seater SUV market.
