MG Gloster New 7-Seater Car – New Rugged Design, Enhanced Level 2 ADAS, and Dual-Screen Cockpit

MG Gloster  – The MG Gloster has been a prominent SUV in the luxury section for its dominance in size, comfort of interiors, and rich-furnished cabin. The 2026 facelift is now completely unveiled, which means the Gloster 7-Seater will challenge competitors like the Toyota Fortuner and Skoda Kodiaq. It will do so by mixing brave design, cutting-edge technology, and improved performance, therefore, staying a primary option for the customers who are looking for a spacious and high-class SUV.

Design

The 2026 Gloster facelift changes the perception of the vehicle with an even more rugged and modern exterior. The front features a huge upright grille that is surrounded by a split headlamp design; the upper part has stylish LED DRLs and the bottom part has vertical LED main units. Muscular bumpers, wider wheel arch cladding, and a new tailgate with a fresh exhaust layout all contribute to the SUV’s off-road-ready stance. The enormous 2,950 mm wheelbase is maintained, ensuring no other vehicle can compare to it in terms of interior space, particularly in the second and third rows.

Interior

In terms of interior, the Gloster’s cabin is upgraded with a high-tech and luxury touch. The dashboard is dominated by a dual-screen layout where a 12.3 inches free-standing infotainment touchscreen is accompanying a full digital instrument cluster for a connected and modern driving experience. The luxury amenities include ventilated and heated front seats, a driver-side massage function, a panoramic dual-pane sunroof, and flexible 6- and 7-seater seating options, including captain seats in the middle row.

Technology

The Gloster of MG has been given a safety and convenience upgrade through the latest Level 2 ADAS enhancements. Among the features are Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Blind Spot Detection, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. A next-gen 4×4 system along with a 7-mode All-Terrain System promises that the SUV will have real off-road capability and will be confident on-road as well as off-road.

Performance

The upgraded Gloster goes on with its strong diesel engine options and only available with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The 2.0L single-turbo diesel engine offers 161 PS and 373 Nm torque with 2WD, while the 2.0L twin-turbo diesel engine provides 215 PS and 480 Nm torque with 4WD. The mighty drivetrain gives the vehicle a smooth and responsive performance and also makes the Gloster the most powerful non-performance diesel SUV in its segment.
