Mahindra XUV7XO: The XUV7XO, the forthcoming facelift of the XUV700, will usher in the next phase of Mahindra & Mahindra’s successful SUV family and is anticipated to be put on sale in January 2026. The XUV300 facelift in 2024, which changed the name to XUV 30O, will be followed by the XUV7XO, which will also be rebranded in the same manner. Mahindra is giving the whole mechanical setup of the present model a revamp along with the visible design upgrades and feature enhancements.
Design
Most of the design changes that the XUV7XO is waiting for might occur at the front. The SUV is likely to be given a more contemporary and fierce look by the new grille and headlamps with a twin-pod design, along with a modified bumper and a fresh LED DRL signature. Although the doors, bonnet, and fenders are likely to stay the same, Mahindra is going to introduce alloy wheels that are optimized for aerodynamics, which will simultaneously add style and save energy. The back will be redesigned with a huge light bar and a new bumper that will be the last touch to the refreshed exterior.

Interior
The interior of the Mahindra XUV7XO may include the triple-screen setup inspired by the XEV 9e, which would provide a more tech-forward cabin experience. Superior features like a Harman Kardon audio system, auto-dimming IRVMs, and BYOD rear seat entertainment would be very likely to come with the vehicle. The car’s transition from conventional physical buttons to a touch-based control panel has not yet been decided. However, the interior upgrades are already promising a more comfortable and modern experience for the passengers.
Engine and Performance
The XUV700 is going to take the engine options that are already available in the lineup. The petrol engine is a 2.0-litre turbo unit with a power output of 200bhp and a torque rating of 380Nm, whereas the diesel engines comprise a 2.2-litre turbo engine with two power options – 155bhp with 360Nm and 185bhp with 450Nm. A 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed automatic torque converter will both be available as part of the transmission options. The automatically shifted diesel versions will be equipped with an all-wheel-drive system, which will provide excellent performance even in rough conditions.
Expectations
The Mahindra XUV7OO is set to elevate the XUV700’s stature in the luxury SUV segment by fusing a modernized look, advanced features, and trustworthy performance. With its January 2026 launch, it promises to deliver a more fashionable, tech-savvy, and multi-purpose SUV for the Indian market.
