Mahindra Thar Earth Edition Review – The Mahindra Thar Earth Edition is a special variant that is meant to be an honor to the harsh and beautiful have of the Thar Desert. This edition comes with a fresh set of design features, improved beauty, and luxurious amenities, thus making it a favorite among thrill seekers and off-roaders.

The Earth Edition has been very well received and Mahindra has made it available for sale and it will only be 4×4 models with the top-spec LX hardtop. Design

The Earth Edition’s key feature is the extravagant satin matte paint ‘Desert Fury’. It also has dune-themed features like custom grille slats, AC vent embellishments, gloss black badging, and decals that are typical for the Thar, along with the SUV’s desert-inspired and imposing character. The automobile also comes with a decorative VIN plate that is numbered, further increasing its value as a collectible.

Engine 

The Thar Earth Edition has a choice of engines to be fitted to it. There are the 2.0L mStallion petrol engine that produces up to 150 hp and 300–320 Nm torque and the 2.2L mHawk diesel engine with the output of around 130 hp and 300 Nm. Apart from the fact that these engines are solely paired with a 4WD system, thus assuring excellent performance and reliability over the most challenging terrains, off-roading is also a major application for them.
