Jeep Avenger – The Jeep Avenger was introduced to the public for the first time during the 2025 São Paulo Motor Show. This small SUV shares its dimensions with the Hyundai Creta, Skoda Kushaq, and Volkswagen Taigun. It has been given the nickname ‘Baby Compass’ because of its availability in petrol and hybrid variations. Following the launch in Brazil, the Avenger is likely to go to other markets, and considering the high demand for compact SUVs in India, it may turn out to be a good choice for the Indian market.
Exterior
Avenger’s exterior takes after the Jeep Compass closely though it is smaller in size. The front features Jeep’s iconic seven-slot grille along with full LED headlights and a muscular bonnet cradled by the silver skid plates. SUV boasts full LED X-style tail lamps at the rear which help in better night visibility. The strong alloy wheels, the black plastic cladding on the lower side, and the big wheel arches add to its tough look.

Interior
The Avenger inside features leather seats with electric front seats including a massage function. The dashboard is neat and simple with numerous control switches and a sunroof contributing to an airy atmosphere. The interior has adequate space for comfortable seating.
Engine and Transmission
The Avenger’s heart is a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine producing 100 hp and 205 Nm of torque coupled with the SELEC-TERRAIN system. There are two transmission choices available which are 6-speed manual and DCT. Additionally, it again has been fortified with a mild hybrid system and, thus, the claimed mileage is around 16 km/l.

Technology Features
The tech features include a 10.25-inch infotainment system which comes with Uconnect radio, ChatGPT Voice Assistant, Wireless Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay support. A 10.25-inch TFT display with customizable settings and a 180-degree rear camera are also part of the package.
Safety Equipment
The Jeep Avenger has been fitted with an array of ADAS features which include Adaptive Cruise Control, Autonomous Emergency Braking, parking sensors that work in all directions, Blind Spot Monitoring, Traffic Sign Recognition, Lane Keeping Assist, and multiple airbags, ABS as well as Hill Descent Control.

Indian Launch?
Despite the fact that the Jeep Avenger is in a marketing campaign currently for the Brazilian market, its advanced features and petite size render it a likely candidate for the Indian market. It would be placed below the Jeep Compass and thus would help the company to capture some share in the very competitive compact SUV segment.
