3 New Electric SUVs Launching Soon in India in 3 Months

3 New Electric SUVs – India’s electric SUV segment is expanding rapidly, with three leading EV launches in the coming two months. These upcoming electric cars will not only be long-range but also equipped with high-end features, eye-catching design and comfort suitable for families. The electric SUVs of Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki and Tata are going to be the turning point in the EV market through their variety of options in performance, usability and price.

Mahindra XEV 9S

Mahindra XEV 9S has been one of the most anticipated models, as it is going to be unveiled tomorrow at Mahindra’s Scream Electric event in Bengaluru. It will be Mahindra’s first electric SUV with three rows and seven seats, and it is made on the INGLO platform. The electrifying parallel to the XUV700, coming under the Rs 30 lakh price point, the XEV 9S is the one to take the limelight.

Among the many teases, Mahindra hinted at a few luxurious necessities like a large trunk, a useful frunk, two rear screens for entertainment, BYOD access, a vast sunroof, seat cooling, several climate zones, and a Dolby sound system. With a predicted real-life range of over 500 km, the XEV 9S is becoming the most significant EV launch of the year.

Maruti Suzuki e Vitara

Maruti Suzuki is officially entering the electric vehicle market with the e-Vitara’s launch scheduled for December 2. The e-Vitara will exclusively be sold through Nexa dealerships and will have two battery packs – 49 kWh and 61 kWh.

Maruti’s upcoming e-Vitara SUV will face competitors such as Tata Nexon EV and MG ZS EV by providing a reasonable driving range, modern cabin technology along with a boosted sense of luxury at an affordable price. This vehicle is a crucial step for Maruti as it enters the all-electric SUV sector for the first time.

Tata Sierra EV

Following the rollout of the Tata Sierra ICE at the price of Rs 11.49 lakh, Tata Motors is now getting ready to launch the Sierra EV. The electric version is predicted to provide a 450-500 km range, a state-of-the-art triple-screen dashboard, and a futuristic layout of the interior.

The Sierra EV will adopt a retro-futuristic exterior design and will be placed in the same segment as the upcoming competitors such as the Hyundai Creta EV and the Mahindra BE.6. The EV is certainly one of the most eagerly awaited electric SUVs due to its unique design, advanced technology, and long-range capability.

As a result of the Mahindra XEV 9S, Maruti e Vitara, and Tata Sierra EV coming soon, buyers searching for electric SUVs stylish, practical, and with long-range will have more options than ever. The new models are supposed to reshape India’s expanding EV market and take the segment ahead with superior technology and design.
