2027 Kia Telluride – At the Los Angeles Auto Show, Kia introduced the 2027 Telluride which is a more conspicuous and commanding version of its full-size SUV. The new Telluride with a taller and wider grille, sharper fender creases, and a floating roof now displays a premium and robust character. The wheelbase has been extended by 2.7 inches, providing more space inside, while the modern upscale feel is achieved through the updated lighting, eight-spoke wheels, and lively trim details. This new SUV has been an indication of Kia’s strategy to gradually infiltrate the premium segment, with a potential India launch very soon.

Design
The style of the 2027 Kia Telluride is more prominent and competitive, and its overall size has been increased which gives it a more powerful presence on the road. A gradually up to 2.7 inches longer wheelbase, and overall length increase make more room for passengers and cargo in the cabin. The front grille has been made taller and wider, and is directly connected to the headlights. The sharper lines of the fenders, the elongated flat hood, and the floating roof give the SUV that luxury look the expensive SUVs have. The thick protection around the arches and a more energetic pose are the finishing touches to its contemporary, daring look.
Interior
When it comes to the interior, the dual-screen setup with two 12.3-inch displays that support both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is the reason for the cabin upgrade by Kia. In the interior premium materials such as real wood and metal trims are used, accompanied by new two-tone seat options and fresh color themes like Deep Navy and Blackberry. The large and spacious interior with the clever storage solutions plus be the comfort for the entire passengers. The cargo space is 22.3 litres when all seats are up, and 86.9 litres when rear rows are folded.
Performance
The old 3.8-litre V6 engine has been substituted by Kia with two four-cylinder engine options. The standard 2.5-litre turbo engine generates 274 hp and 421 Nm of torque, and is coupled with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The hybrid variant uses the same engine along with an electric motor to produce a total of 329 hp and 459 Nm, and is linked to a six-speed automatic. These changes make the Telluride a more fuel-efficient car without losing the performance aspect.
Features
The Telluride 2027 has cantilever luxurious features such as new lighting signatures, eight-spoke wheels, and the very bright orange recovery hooks of the X-Pro trim. The large vehicle is equipped with the latest technolog dual-screen infotainment, high-end connectivity, and a stunning luxury cabin. With its great mixture of style, space, and performance, the Telluride has been set as Kia’s top SUV.

Outlook for India
Kia has yet to announce the launch in India but, on the other hand, the locally spotted test mules indicate that the car might come to the market in the next years. The 2027 Telluride could be the flagship model for Kia as it penetrates the premium segment more and more, and thus offer the buyers more vehicles that are spacious, loaded with features, and stylish.
