2025 Hyundai Venue Review – A Big Step Up, Yet Not a Complete Upgrade

2025 Hyundai Venue – The 2025 Hyundai Venue has the main goal of being more modern, premium, and giving the latest technology which is the expectation of a compact SUV. The renovated Venue is a new global platform that offers huge changes in design, safety, and features. However, even if the car has been upgraded, some problems like cramped rear-seat space and limited overall practicality remain.

Engine

The 2025 Venue still offers the same petrol and diesel engines, but there is a major change for diesel customers. Diesel engine is offered with a torque converter automatic gearbox for the first time, thus making it much more user-friendly for both city and highway driving. The performance of both engines is very smooth, and the diesel engine still has a good low-end torque. The noise levels coming from the engine have been reduced; and the power of the engine is very well controlled. Although the engines do their tasks quite well, nonetheless, the automated technology and comfort update remains the focus rather than sporty driving.

Design

From every aspect, the new Venue has become bolder and more futuristic. The design of the front part is highlighted by a full-width LED light bar, a new grille, and precise L-shaped light elements. The SUV has become wider and taller, and even the wheelbase has increased by 20mm, all this while remaining under the sub-4-metre size limit. The new ‘H’ theme for the steering wheel and exterior details gives the Venue a new character. In general, the design makes the SUV look more bold and modern, thus it is very easy for it to be noticed on the road.

Interior and Features

The Venue has made a great leap forward in terms of its interior. The car now features a couple of 12.3-inch displays for the infotainment system and the digital instrument cluster. The interior has a futuristic and technological vibe, thanks to the presence of an 8-speaker Bose sound system and cooled front seats. The Level 2 ADAS has a total of 16 safety features such as Smart Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, and Forward Collision Prevention.

Yet, there are some drawbacks still left to face. The bright-colored interior plastics are attractive and expensive looking but they are quick to get dirty and show marks. The back seat is not as cramped as it used to be, but having three adults there is still a big challenge. The support for the thigh is just average and the seat could have been designed better for a long journey. The regular sunroof brightens up the interior but it is not panoramic and this could be a letdown for those who expect a more upscale feel.

Price

Hyundai has kept the price changes moderate but the new Venue surely aims at a more premium place in the compact SUV market. The price set for the car is based on the updated platform, enhanced safety features, and tech-loaded interior. It has a strong stand against competitors with its extra features given in the higher trims, especially in the case of the safety package. The company has made this model convenient and attractive for the tech-savvy young urban customers by providing the Venue with a diesel engine and an automatic gearbox at a slightly higher price.
