2025 Ducati Streetfighter V2 – Ducati has officially introduced the 2025 Streetfighter V2 in India, thus setting a new standard in the mid-capacity naked sportbike category. The V2 and V2 S variants are priced at ₹17.50 lakh and ₹19.48 lakh, respectively, (ex-showroom India). Lightweight sportsbike agility, a 890cc V2 engine with excellent handling, and cutting-edge technology for urban and recreation riding all come with this streetfighter. The Streetfighter V2 is developed on the Panigale V2 platform and is equipped with the cutting-edge performance DNA of Ducati along with ergonomics suited for everyday use.
Design
The Ducati Streetfighter V2 embodies a radical streetfighter naked look with its cutting lines, Y-shaped alloy wheels, and a compact monocoque frame that allows the mass to be shifted towards the center. The bike, which is available only in the red color of the Ducati brand in India, highlights the aerodynamic efficiency while at the same time keeping the riding comfort of the daily use. The variable-section aluminum handlebar, sculpted fuel tank, and narrow waist make controlling and being comfortable easier, while the V2 S comes with some battery weight-reducing upgrades that lower the total weight of the bike to a wet 175kg, including a lithium-ion battery.

Engine
The engine is a 890cc 90-degree V2 that meets Euro 5+ standards, generating 119bhp at 10,750rpm and 93.3Nm at 8,250rpm. The engine weighs only 54.4kg and produces a strong torque from as low as 3,000rpm, thereby guaranteeing a lively performance in real-world situations. In addition to this, Ducati is offering an optional racing exhaust that increases the power output to 125bhp and simultaneously reduces the weight by another 4.5kg. The six-speed gearbox with Ducati Quick Shift 2.0 and an oil-bath slipper clutch allows for seamless clutch-less upshifts, downshifts, and controlled braking.
Safety
The Streetfighter V2 is loaded with sophisticated rider aids which are all supported by a six-axis inertial measurement unit. The rider aids include cornering ABS with slide-by-brake function, Ducati Traction Control, Wheelie Control, Engine Brake Control, and riding modes—Race, Sport, Road, and Wet—each of which can be selected according to rider preferences. With all these systems combined, V2 is not only a track-ready but also a manageable motorcycle on urban roads.

Technology
The 5-inch TFT display has three layouts: Road, Road Pro, and Track, tailored for different riding scenarios. Levers for the brake and clutch that can be adjusted, a wide handlebar, and footpegs that are engineered with precision are all contributing to a comfortable riding position. Further, Ducati is offering a wide range of additional features such as cruise control, Lap Timer Pro, USB charging, turn-by-turn navigation, tyre pressure monitoring, and, for the V2 S there are also Ducati Power Launch and pit limiter for race fans.
Price
The starting price of the Ducati Streetfighter V2 is ₹17.50 lakh (ex-showroom India) for the standard version whereas it is ₹19.48 lakh for the V2 S which comes fully loaded. The pricing is such that it comes close to the mid-capacity naked sportbike segment dollar-for-dollar while at the same time offering the top-notch Ducati performance, technology, and customization options.
