The Toyota Innova Highcross is scheduled to debut in India on 25 November. The Japanese automaker has been releasing teaser videos and images of the SUV-like MPV ahead of its much-awaited debut. The new teaser video posted by the automaker on the social media platform reveals that the car will come with ADAS features. The new video shows the MPV’s all-digital instrument cluster and suggests that the MPV will get lane-keep assist.
The Innova has been a popular car from the automaker in the Indian market for many years now, and with the new model update, it is all set to turn into a new car. The upcoming Toyota Innova Highcross comes with fresh styling, which the Toyota Fortuner heavily influences and other SUVs from the Japanese car brand, and adds advanced technology and features.
The car will come with hybrid technology.
Talking about the powertrain, the upcoming Innova Highcross will be available only as a petrol model. The car will get an electric motor along with the petrol engine. It has yet to be confirmed whether the hybrid technology will be mild or strong. Interestingly, the Toyota Innova Crysta is also available only in petrol, as the automaker has stopped booking the diesel variant. With several car details already being made public, more are expected to be revealed before its launch.

The automaker has already revealed the design of the new Toyota Innova Highcross’s front grille, headlamps, hood, side profile and rear. The MPV will be based on an entirely new chassis, which is expected to offer better ride quality, better handling and more safety.
