Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has increased the price of its Toyota Glanza car in India. The price hike varies across models, including both the petrol (differently on manual and automatic) and CNG models of Toyota.
Toyota has increased the prices of its premium hatchback car Toyota Glanza by up to Rs 12,000 across all variants (except its top V AMT model). The new price of the Toyota Glanza car will start from Rs 6.66 lakh to Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Recently, the company has also increased the prices of its SUV car Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyrider, by Rs 50,000. The company has increased the prices of petrol manual variants of the Toyota Glanza by Rs 7,000, while the prices of automatic variants of this car have been increased by Rs 12,000. Besides this, Toyota has also increased the price of this car’s two CNG variants (S and G) by Rs 2,000. This means Toyota has increased the lowest price on CNG cars.
The Toyota Glanza hatchback car is the badged version of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno. That’s why only the 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine from Maruti Baleno is available, which generates this car’s maximum power of 90 PS and 113 Nm peak torque, paired with a 5-speed manual and automatic transmission.
