Everyone loves Kia cars, and whenever they hit the market, they will face competition from the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyrider. We’ll discuss the features included in the Kia Seltos facelift. Hyundai and Kia decided against updating the 1.4L turbo-petrol engine considering the forthcoming BS6 Phase-II pollution standards. Both automakers will introduce a new 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine to replace the 1.4-liter turbo-petrol engine. The redesigned Hyundai Alcazar and the Hyundai Verna will be the first vehicles to use the new 1.5L turbo petrol engine.
Let us tell you that the Kia Seltos is the queen of everyone’s hearts; apart from these, this engine can also be seen in Kia Carens. Hyundai has also started taking bookings for the 1.5L turbo petrol engine variant of the 2023 Alcazar. This 1.5L turbo petrol engine will generate 160PS power at 5500rpm and 253 Nm torque between 1500rpm to 3500rpm. There will be a choice of 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
People in India like this car; apart from this, Seltos will continue to come with 1.5-liter regular petrol and 1.5-liter turbo diesel engine options. Let us tell you, however, that they will be made compliant with BS6 Phase-II and road driving emission norms. There are likely to be some changes in the power and torque outputs of both these (petrol and diesel) engines. Hyundai may also bring this new 1.5L turbo petrol engine to its Creta.
