The top-selling subcompact SUV in India, the Tata Nexon, first debuted in 2017 and underwent its final mid-life update in 2020. The vehicle is now prepared to launch its new generation throughout the nation. The automaker has started testing the brand-new Nexon, which was recently photographed while heavily camouflaged. There is yet no official word on the debut date or any specifics. According to reports, the new Tata Nexon will go on sale in 2024.
Curvv Inspired Design
Its front and rear profiles are anticipated to undergo significant cosmetic alterations. According to the leaked photos, the new Tata Nexon will borrow parts of its design cues from the Curvv concept, particularly how its headlamps are arranged. The Hyundai Creta challenger that Tata will release sometime in the following year is previewed by the Curvv concept, displayed at this year’s Auto Expo. The front grille, front bumper, and central air intake of the 2024 Tata Nexon will all be freshly designed. A new connected LED light bar will be positioned just above the grille. An LED light bar will join the taillamp clusters in the rear part. The tiny SUV may also have new alloy wheels.
New Touchscreen Info
The new Tata Nexon’s interior design is still a secret. However, a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system integrating the latest smartphone connectivity and voice command functionality is anticipated to be included in the SUV. The Info unit will feature large, clear text and simple, minimalist images. A new digital cluster could potentially exist. Its dashboard layout might also be changed. The majority of the features will remain from the current generation.
New Turbo-Petrol Engine
The new 1.2L turbo petrol engine presented during the 16th Edition of the Delhi Auto Expo is anticipated to be available with the 2024 Tata Nexon. The motor produces a maximum of 125 horsepower and 225 Nm of torque. The current 1.5L diesel engine, capable of 110 horsepower, will also be included with the SUV. There will be manual and AMT transmissions available.
