The new line of products for the Indian market will soon be in production at the French carmaker Renault. The CMF-B modular platform will be introduced thanks mainly to a 4000 crore investment that the Renault-Nissan partnership will announce. Numerous new models for Nissan and Renault in our market will be produced using this platform.

A few years from now, in 2024 or 2025, Renault will introduce the third-generation Duster SUV to our market. On the brand-new CMF-B platform, a new model will be created. The more contemporary features and underpinnings Renault can give, the better. Different body types and engine choices, such as hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and gasoline engines, can all be accommodated by their adaptability. The CMF-B EV is a variant of this platform that runs on electricity. The new architecture will support electrification, including hybrid and EV powertrains, and will comply with current and future safety regulations.

Renault will introduce a new 7-seater SUV based on the new CMF-B platform and the new Duster. Early in 2021, the French automaker unveiled its three-row Bigster SUV prototype. According to Renault, the SUV’s production version will be released sometime between 2024 and 2025. According to primary sources, a hybrid and “alternative energy” powertrain will be available for Bigster’s production model.

The new model will be priced similarly to vehicles such as the VW Tiguan and Skoda Karoq on international markets. It also has LED lights that appear to be integrated into the grille. With its flared wheel arches and colossal 5-spoke alloy wheels, the side profile resembles a larger Duster SUV. The Bigster concept sports a simple tailgate with a large Dacia insignia and a set of Y-shaped taillights at the back.
