The X-Trail and Qashqai SUVs, which are presently undergoing testing, have previously been confirmed by the Japanese automaker. The Toyota Fortuner will face off against the Nissan X-Trail, which is anticipated to go on sale in the middle of 2023. The business has now disclosed that it will introduce a new 7-seater MPV based on the Renault Tiber. The CMF-A+ platform will be used to construct the model.
The new Nissan 7-seater MPV’s specifications are still a secret. We anticipate it will share its drivetrains and features with the Renault Triber. The latter has a 1.0L, 3-cylinder, normally aspirated gasoline engine rated to produce 71 horsepower and 96 Nm of torque. The automaker may also release a new MPV with a turbocharged gasoline engine. The new Nissan 7-seater MPV will have a different appearance from the Renault Tiber in terms of design. Its design may have taken some cues from the Nissan Magnite. However, in terms of dimensions, it will resemble the Triber. The new Nissan X-Trail will be offered a 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine that may be obtained with either mild or solid hybrid technology.
