Maruti Suzuki has launched the new Dzire Tour S for the Indian fleet market. The standard(O) petrol model of the small sedan costs Rs 6.51 lakh, while the standard(O) CNG variant costs Rs 7.36 lakh. Tour S joins the Ertiga (Tour M) and WagonR (Tour H3) models to replace the outgoing model based on the second-generation Dzire. All three variants are sold at commercial dealerships and Maruti Suzuki Arena.
The 2023 Maruti Tour S has a new front fascia and elegant LED taillamps at the back, along with the distinguishing “Tour S” badge. As standard safety measures, the new model is equipped with dual airbags, an electronic stability programme (ESP), an anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), and brake assist.
The new Suzuki 1.2-liter K15C dual-jet, dual VVT petrol engine powers the Tour S and produces a maximum torque of 113Nm at 4,400 rpm while producing 89bhp at 6000 rpm. The powerplant produces 77 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 98.5 Nm at 4300 rpm while operating on CNG. The front wheels are powered by a 5-speed manual transmission that is included as standard equipment.
According to ARAI certification, the 2023 Maruti Tour S petrol variant has a fuel efficiency of 23.15 km. Fuel efficiency for the CNG version is 32.12 km/kg. The sedan includes:
- Speed-sensitive door locking.
- An ISOFIX seat anchorage system.
- A tilt-adjustable steering wheel.
- Manual air conditioning with a pollen filter.
- A front accessory socket.
- Other features.
Three colours are available: Arctic White, Midnight Black, and Silky Silver.
