Maruti Suzuki launched the new generation model Alto K10 of this car last year. Now the company has introduced a new variant of this car, the Alto K10 Xtra Edition. The looks and interiors of the new edition are slightly different from the regular model. The new car gets skid plates with orange highlights on the ORVMs and a roof-mounted spoiler. Though no changes have been made to its engine, it still comes with the 1.0-litre, K-series petrol engine.

The new Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 Xtra Edition gets body-coloured door handles, blacked-out skid plates with orange highlights, steel wheels with designer covers, orange ORVMs, muscular bonnet, halogen headlamps, hexagonal honeycomb-mesh grille and bumper-mounted fog lamps. Lamps are given. The rest of the design remains the same as the standard model.

The Extra Edition of the Maruti Alto K10 gets the same 1.0-litre K10C petrol engine as the regular model. This engine is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. This engine is capable of generating an output of 67hp and 89Nm.

The interior of this car features a multifunctional steering wheel, minimalist dashboard design, 7.0-inch Smartplay Pro infotainment system, dual-tone fabric upholstery, digital instrument cluster, power windows, dual airbags and manual AC.

Maruti Suzuki is yet to announce the price of the Alto 10Xtra Edition. It will be announced at the time of its launch, which can happen very soon. Its regular model is available at a starting price of Rs. 3.99 lakhs, but its price can be slightly higher.

This car will compete with Hyundai’s Grand i10 NIOS, in which a 1.2-litre petrol engine is available. Although its price is a bit high, the facilities are also more.
