The spectacular entry of Mahindra’s newly updated Scorpio Classic has left the Tata company sweating. The engine and features are also wonderful. Now Scorpio is sold under the name Scorpio Classic. Currently, the SUV comes in only two variants – S and S11. However, another new variant, S5, is coming soon, which will be positioned between the Classic S and Classic S11 trims. New Mahindra Scorpio Classic S5:
The Scorpio is one of the best-selling models for the well-known automaker Mahindra. Even after many years, consumers still have a high demand for it. The next Scorpio Classic S5 model is expected to include three seating options: a 7-seater with bench, a 7-seater with Campton seat, and a 9-seater with bench. According to the version, there may only be two of the three options accessible. On the other hand, if rumors are to be believed, the company can now provide a 9-seater option in the Classic S11.
New Mahindra Scorpio Classic S5 Engine:
A 2.2-liter turbo-diesel engine from Mahindra with 132 horsepower and 300 Nm of peak torque may power this new model. It will be mated with a six-speed manual transmission. A rear-wheel drive system will be used.
New Mahindra Scorpio Classic S5 Features:
Features including body-colored bumpers, steel wheels, central locking, an audio system, and electrically adjustable ORVMs are anticipated for the new S5 model. Features like projector headlights with LED DRLs, follow-me-home headlamps, the rear washer and wiper, and the front armrests might not be included. Dual airbags, collapsible steering, engine immobilizer, seat belt reminder, and speed alert are just a few of the safety features it will offer.
New Mahindra Scorpio Classic S5 Price:
Introducing the new S5 variant of the Scorpio Classic will help reduce the price gap between the S and S11 variants. Currently, the base variant of Scorpio Classic costs Rs 12.64 lakh, and the top variant costs Rs 16.14 lakh. There is a difference of Rs 3.5 lakh between these two variants.
