The Mahindra XUV400 EV, a powerful and useful electric SUV, was recently unveiled by Mahindra in the nation for purchasers looking for one. The brand will shortly begin with the test drives of this new SUV before unveiling the XUV400 EV next month.
But the shipments are anticipated to begin in February and March 2023. The base, EP, and EL variants of the new Mahindra XUV400 EV will be available first. The SUV will probably cost between Rs 17 and Rs 18 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), and the manufacturer plans to position it as a direct competitor to electric SUVs like the Tata Nexon EV and the MG ZS EV in the Indian market.
While the XUV400 EV’s top speed is limited to 150 kmph, the brand promises to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 8.3 seconds. Featuring a 39.5 kWh battery pack with cutting-edge Li-ion cells, the new XUV400 EV is available.
With a maximum output of 148 horsepower and 310 Newton metres, respectively, this battery pack powers a single motor powertrain configuration. The SUV supports various charging methods, including a regular 3.3kW/16A home charger, a 7.2kW/32A fast charger, and a DC fast charger.
For those curious, charging an SUV with a DC fast charger only takes 50 minutes; however, charging an SUV at home from 0% to 80% will take about 13 hours. However, the new Mahindra XUV400 EV comes with three driving modes: Fun, Fast, and Fearless.
Along with a long list of security features, including six airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, and ISOFIX anchors, it also receives a single-pane sunroof, connected car technology, automated climate control, push-button start, and more.
