The long-awaited new Mahindra XUV400 electric SUV has now gone on sale for an introductory price of Rs 15.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The initial 5,000 units are subject to the introductory prices. Bookings for the new XUV400 electric SUV will start on January 26, and deliveries will start in March 2023.
In the XUV 400 Electric, the company has given a 17.78 cm infotainment system. It supports Apple Car Play and Android Auto. The Bluesense Plus app has also been given, allowing it to connect more than 60 mobile app-based features. Features like auto headlamps, smartwatch connectivity, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, leatherette seats, electric sunroof, height adjustable driver seat, rear wiper and washer, front armrest with storage, rear armrest with storage are also offered on the XUV 400 Electric.
The XUV 400 Electric can run 375 and 456 kilometres on a single charge. It gets a range of 375 km with the 34.5 kWh battery and 456 km with the 39.4 kWh battery. EV batteries are completely protected from dust, soil, and water. It has got IP-67 rating for the battery.
In the XUV 400 Electric, the company has given the option of two batteries. One of these batteries is 34.5 kW. While the second battery is 39.4 kW. Both the battery options share the same motor, which makes the SUV 150 PS of power and 310 Nm of torque.
The company has launched XUV 400 Electric in two variants. The lowest-end variant is the EC, while the top-end is the EL.
In this, many safety features like six airbags, ISOFIX child anchorage, disc brakes on all wheels, ABS, EBD, adaptive guidelines with reverse camera, and side and curtain airbags are available in the SUV.
The initial X showroom price of XUV 400 Electric has been fixed at Rs 15.99 lakh. The company has also said that this price will apply only to both variants’ first five thousand bookings. After this, the price can be revised. The ex-showroom price of Rs 15.99 lakh is for the EC variant of the XUV 400 Electric. While the ex-showroom price of this variant with its 7.2 kW charger is Rs 16.49 lakh. The ex-showroom price of its top variant, EL, is Rs 18.99 lakh.
