Kia can showcase its two new cars during the Auto Expo 2023, which will be held in January next year. Their names will be New Kia Carnival and Sorento SUV. Currently, there are 5 cars in Kia India’s portfolio, while many are in the global market. The Kia Carnival already has a model, and now the company will present it with new features, while the Sorento SUV can be launched in India for the first time.
It has been claimed in a media report that information about the features of these upcoming cars has been shared. Both these cars come in big sizes. Where Kia Carnival is a premium segment car, and many cool features are seen in it. At the same time, Sorento is an SUV car and can seat up to 7 people.
New Kia Carnival is a luxury MPV
The Carnival measures 5.1m in length and is an MPV car. It gets automatic sliding doors and offers better indoor space. Its engine can generate a power of 197bhp and a maximum power of 440 Nm. 6 and 7-seater options are available in this Kia car. If needed, there is also a plan for up to 9 seaters. The new model is sharper than the old one, and the new Kia car will be launched with many good features.
2023 Kia Sorento SUV
Kia Sorento is a mid-size SUV car, and its length is 4,810mm. It measures 1900 mm in width and 1700 mm in size and has a wheelbase of 2815 mm. Hyundai’s Santa Fe inspires this Kia car. Both use the same platform and powertrain.
Santa Fe Features
Hyundai’s old Santa Fe was available for sale in India, and it used to fall in the category of Fortuner and BMW X1. Due to low sales, the company discontinued this product.
Sorento is present in the European market.
The Sorento is available in the European market and gets a 1.6L turbo petrol engine and a 2.2L diesel engine. It has a self-charging mild hybrid option and a plug-in hybrid powertrain.
