Kia Motors soon introduce its CNG vehicles in the country. Kia Carens CNG will also be a part of this. After going on sale, this vehicle will face competition from models like the Maruti Grand Vitara CNG and Ertiga CNG. It will be a potent 7-seater CNG vehicle that is the better choice on the market.
A 1.4L turbocharged petrol engine with a factory-fitted CNG kit will power the Kia Carens CNG. This engine can generate 140 PS power and maximum torque of 242 Nm. It can be given 6-speed manual transmission.
Currently, the Kia Carens are offered with both petrol and diesel engines. This vehicle comes in 6- and 7-seater variants. The vehicle has 19 different variations and trim levels like Premium, Prestige, Prestige Plus, Luxury, and Luxury Plus. This car costs between Rs. 10.20 lakh and Rs. 18.45 lakh ex-showroom. The initial cost of Carens CNG is up to Rs. 12 lakhs.
According to the news in the media, Kia Motors can also launch its SUV car Sonet in the CNG version in the coming few months. This car will compete with Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG, which will come on the market soon after launching.
