Launching this year in India, the Lexus LM 300h will be driven by a 2.5-liter hybrid powertrain with 4WD. At the current 2023 Auto Expo, Lexus India announced that the LM 300h luxurious MPV would be released in the local industry subsequently this year. The LM and the well-liked Toyota Vellfire have many similarities, but the LM has undergone several interior and exterior alterations to set itself apart from the Toyota sister. Although the Lexus LM 300h’s debut has indeed been announced, the LM 350 is being displayed at the biannual auto exhibition in its place. It has a straight front end with the recognisable spindle grille accented in chrome and a stylish wraparound LED headlight.
A substantial Lexus emblem has been placed onto the grille component to go along with the compact bonnet layout. A slanted front windscreen, black-finished pillars, a somewhat sloping roof, an incorporated diffuser at the trunk, chrome door knobs, flank chrome garnish, a distinctive chrome trim piece behind the B-pillars, and upscale wheels are other aesthetic characteristics.
The Lexus LM 350 also has a noticeable LED tail lamp design, a boxy tailgate, and a posterior bumper with chrome accents. It has a 3.5-liter V6 engine with no hybridization, which generates horsepower, and an eight-speed automatic powertrain. On the contrary hand, the future Lexus LM 300h will be powered by a 2.5-liter Atkinson Cycle TNGA gasoline engine.
Dual electrical engines, one controlling each axle, work together to power it. The frontal wheels are powered by an e-CVT since the powertrain and motor controller together have 197 horsepower, but the rear axle is solely driven by an electric motor with 67 horsepower, resulting in a 4WD arrangement. The MPV comes loaded with goodies, including heated, reclining, and ventilated operated upholstery, a huge interface, a 26-inch monitor, a filing cabinet for umbrellas, and a separate fridge. The top-of-the-line LX SUV, which will also be introduced this year in India, the LF-Z and LF-30 concepts, as well as the Lexus LM 350 luxury MPV, are all housed in the same pavilion.
