The greatest fascinating booth at the 2023 Auto Expo is undoubtedly Tata Motors’. The domestic carmaker has unveiled special versions, CNG models, and prospective EV products—the majority of them in conceptual form. The business showcased its four future electric SUVs, featuring the Curvv, Harrier EV, Sierra EV, and Avinya EV prototype, at the major automobile expo. The influx of new Tata SUVs are described in full here.

TATA CURVV

One of the main draws at the Tata pavilion is the Curvv SUV roadster. The manufacturer has declared that the version on display is almost ready for execution and will go on sale somewhere in the upcoming year. In comparison to vehicles such as the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, and Kia Seltos, its ultimate form will be tested. The SUV will be available with both gasoline and renewable drivetrains. The vehicle has a slanted sunroof, notchback-like boot, and the brand’s “New Digital” design language. The new Gen 2 (Sigma) structure from Tata, which enables a variety of body types and powertrains, will be supported by the enhanced vehicle of the Curvv.

TATA HARRIER EV

At the 16th Delhi Auto Expo, the Tata Harrier electric SUV made its premiere in concept form. Additionally, it is rumoured that a production-ready prototype will be released in 2024. The Omega foundation, which is fundamentally the Gen 2 EV technology and on which the prototype was developed, has undergone significant modification. Tata has not yet provided information on the Harrier EV’s engine, although it has stated that it would include a dual-motor AWD (all-wheel drive) system. Additionally, it will be able to charge from a car to a load and from an automobile to another automobile.

TATA SIERRA EV

The Tata Sierra EV received its premiere at the Auto Expo 2023 in a close-to-production variant. The year 2025 has indeed been set aside for the SUV’s debut. It will be situated above the Safari in the manufacturer’s automotive lineup and will compete with the Mahindra Scorpio-N. The vehicle that is being displayed features a real five-door layout, a more elevated bonnet, aggressive frontal bumpers, a new false badge, blacked-out C and D pillars, and a big glasshouse. The Sierra will be offered with both gasoline and synchronous motor choices, just like the Curvv SUV. It’s one of India’s greatest eagerly awaited innovative Mahindra SUVs.

TATA AVINYA EV

The Avinya EV concept from Tata Motors showcases the company’s first-ever Gen 3 electric platform. The bigger hybrid cars from Tata will utilise this design. By 2025, the Avinya’s production-ready version is expected to arrive on American soil. The sophisticated automated driving technology and next-generation communication will be standard on the Gen 3 architecture-based EVs (ADAS). With a full width LED light bar at the front end, the new “T” emblem, compact headlights, and a significantly contoured front diffuser, the idea has a highly contemporary style.
