Coming Month, India Will See The Debut Of The Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG

The Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG, which boasts a projected mileage consumption of 26.10 km/kg, is anticipated to be released in India sometime this month.

The Urban Cruiser Hyryder was unveiled by Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) several months earlier, and buyers seem to like it. The Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, MG Astor, Tata Harrier, VW Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Nissan Kicks, etc., are competitors of the midrange SUV. It has one of the most potent hybrid powertrains among the two SUVs in its class.

The Urban Cruiser Hyryder has a lot of affinity with the Grand Vitara and a variety of benefits over its competitors. Thanks to the powerful combination technology, it has a specialised EV mode and a stated mileage consumption of close to 28 kmpl. Additionally, a 1.5-litre four-cylinder K15C mild-hybrid petrol engine is even an option.

It has a maximal performance production of 103 PS and a potential performance of 136 Nm. This month, a CNG variant will be added to the lineup, and legitimate registrations have already started. The Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG will be the brand’s second CNG vehicle after the recently introduced CNG model of the Glanza luxury hatchback.

Consumers who wish to buy an Urban Cruiser Hyryder with good fuel efficiency but find the strong hybrid version pricey would find it appealing. Probably this month will also see the debut of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara CNG. In the CNG mode, like in the Ertiga and XL6 CNG trims, the 1.5-liter four-cylinder K15C mild-hybrid petrol engine could provide approximately 88 horsepower and 98.5 Nm.

We anticipate the pricing will be approximately Rs. 75,000 higher than the corresponding mild-hybrid type. The only mechanism available for the powertrain is a five-speed conventional mechanism, and the ARAI-certified fuel efficiency is expected to be 26.10 km/kg.

Though shipments of the Innova Hycross will start by the middle of next month, the Japanese automaker will presumably debut a diminutive transverse modelled on the future Maruti Suzuki YTB after the Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG. In India, the launching of the new Fortuner is also anticipated to occur soon.
