Leading tire manufacturer CEAT launched its new Crossdrive range of all-terrain tires specially designed for SUVs. The manufacturer says that its new Crossdrive range includes the brand’s 3D SIP technology and shoulder design, which helps the tire adapt to all-terrain applications. The new carbon black tread compound provides better grip and fuel efficiency and has been tested on the state-of-the-art NATRAX auto testing track and off-roading track at Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
Commenting on the launch, Arnab Banerjee, Chief Operating Officer, CEAT Tyres, said, “The Cross drive is one of our excellent offerings in the all-terrain tire segment for SUVs. Introducing new technology and design for Crossdrive tires will help our customers safely conquer challenging and varied terrains while also improving the vehicle’s fuel efficiency. We’ve tested the Crossdrive extensively for off-roading capabilities and city use, delivering an experience that’s the best of both worlds. The launch of CrossDrive is another step in our endeavor to make everyday mobility safer and smarter by enabling avid SUV owners in India to traverse all terrains confidently. The core promise of the Ceat CrossDrive for SUV customers is ‘Discovering the New You.”
The CEAT Crossdrive range will cater to the needs of premium SUVs, and the company has already partnered with Mahindra to provide the same on the Thar off-roader. The range is available for both 4×2 and 4×4 SUVs and will be available in multiple sizes. The company will distribute its new range through exclusive brand outlets and standalone stores. CEAT also announced that the brand plans to launch these tires in the global market soon.
