Maruti Suzuki has introduced its new SUV, Fronx, which the company will sell through its Nexa showroom. This car will get the toughest competition from Maruti Baleno and another Nexa. The new Franks is also based on the Baleno, the SUV version of the hatchback. However, there is a lot of difference between these two cars, which we will tell you in this news.
The new generation Baleno gets a more aggressive and attractive look with a bigger grille and sweptback headlamps. While the front facing of the Frons SUV looks quite similar to the Grand Vitara with thinner DRLs and headlamps, a thick chrome strip, and a bigger grille. The sloping rear and connected LED tail-lamps of the Fronx make it stand out from other cars. The design and styling of this car have been made like a coupe SUV. The Fronx are longer, wider and taller than the Baleno but have the same wheelbase.
The interiors of the new Fronx and the Baleno are almost identical, but the layout of the Fronx is slightly different, with a new paint scheme with matte/silver accents. The inside fronts get a red/black theme compared to the Baleno’s all-black look. While both cars have a head-up display, 9-inch touchscreen, connected car tech, 360-degree camera, wireless charging, and all other features.
The Baleno and Fronx get the same 1.2L petrol AMT and manual gearbox. But another 1.0 L turbo petrol engine option is also available in the Fronx. There is a choice of a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic with this engine.
The ex-showroom price of the Maruti Baleno starts from Rs.6.5 lakhs and goes up to Rs.9.7 lakhs. While the price of Fronx can range from Rs 7 lakh to Rs 10 lakh. Looking at this, buying Fronx is more beneficial. While keeping the price in mind, Baleno can be an affordable option.
