Luxury car manufacturer Audi has started official booking for its upcoming 2023 Audi Q3 Sportback in India, for which customers will have to deposit a token of Rs 2 lakh. However, the launch date of this car has yet to be announced. But it is likely to start selling soon. The new Q3 Sportback will be slightly higher than the regular Q3 SUV, priced between Rs 44.90 lakh to Rs 50.40 lakh, ex-showroom. This car will compete with cars like BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLA and Volvo XC40 in the Indian market.

The global variant of this coupe SUV offers petrol and diesel engine options. However, it will come in India with the same 2.0L turbocharged petrol engine that powers the regular Q3 model. This TFSI unit generates a peak power of 188bhp and torque of 320Nm. The Q3 Sportback will get a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, which will be equipped with an all-wheel drive system.

The interior layout and features of the Audi Q3 Sportback will be similar to the regular Q3 SUV. It will get features like an 8.9-inch infotainment system with dark MMI navigation, smartphone interface, Audi sound system, digital driver’s display, Audi-powered front seats, wireless phone charging, dual zone AC, connected car tech and ambient lighting.

The 2023 Audi Q3 Sportback will have five options: Chronos Grey, Navarra Blue, Mythos Black, Glacier White and Turbo Blue. Also, colour options like Pearl Beige and Okapi Brown will be available in its interior. The design and styling of this coupe SUV will be similar to its regular model. However, it will get sportier design bits like a honeycomb pattern front grille, sloping roofline, new alloy wheels and blacked-out elements.

The car will compete with the BMW X1, which has 1.5L and 2.0L engine options, including diesel and petrol engines. The ex-showroom price of this car starts from Rs.45.90 lakhs.
