5 New 7-Seater Family Cars (SUVs/MPV) Launching Soon; See Details

There is a considerable market demand for family vehicles with seven seats, including SUVs and MPVs. For their practicality and additional interior room, owners of family cars have long favoured three-row vehicles. In the coming months, Toyota, Tata, Mahindra, MG, and Force Motors will build each debut 5 significant vehicles in this market. The soon-to-be-released new 7-seater family cars have several important details listed below.

MG HECTOR PLUS FACELIFT

MG Motor India will reveal the new Hector and Hector Plus prices on January 5, 2023. The company’s Gujarat plant in Halol, where the SUVs are being produced, is already operational. On the front end, the majority of the adjustments will be made. With split headlamps and LED DRLs, the new 2023 MG Hector Plus has a completely redesigned grille. New alloy wheels are added to it. The steering wheel, centre console, and dashboard will all be brand-new interior features. With Next-Gen i-Smart technology and wireless smartphone connectivity, the SUV’s new 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system is equipped. The ADAS suite will undergo a significant overhaul.

TATA SAFARI FACELIFT

At the January 2023 Auto Expo, Tata Motors may present the upgraded Safari SUV and the redesigned Harrier. The Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) suite may be installed in the SUV for the first time on a Tata vehicle. Additionally, it can be loaded with amenities like a 360-degree camera and a bigger touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. There won’t likely be any engine-related adjustments. The 2.0L diesel engine will remain the power source for the upcoming 2023 Tata Safari facelift when mated to a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission.

TOYOTA INNOVA HYCROSS

The Toyota Innova Hycross is scheduled to go on sale in January 2023. The 2.0L gasoline strong hybrid and 2.0L gasoline naturally aspirated powertrains are included with the MPV’s G, GX, VX, ZX, and ZX (O) trim levels. The gasoline engine, which has a CVT gearbox, has a maximum output of 172 horsepower and 205 Newton metres of torque. With an e-Drive transmission, the powerful hybrid arrangement produces 186 horsepower. A mileage of 21.1 km is promised for the Innova Hycross strong hybrid. The MPV is outfitted with amenities like ADAS, a sizable panoramic sunroof, a 9-speaker JBL audio system, linked car technology, etc.

MAHINDRA BOLERO NEO PLUS

The new 7-seater family vehicles in India that will shortly be released include the Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus. However, the debut date has yet to be disclosed. The 2.2L mHawk diesel engine, which will be offered with both manual and automatic transmission options, will provide the SUV with power. The Bolero Neo Plus will be longer and feature a larger cabin than its 5-seater brother. It will be offered in P4 and P10 models, with prices ranging from Rs. 10 lacks to Rs. 12 lacks (ex-showroom).

5-DOOR FORCE GURKHA

Within the next few months, the 5-door Force Gurkha is anticipated to hit the market. The corporation has already begun distributing the model at its nationwide showrooms. Four seating arrangements are available: 6, 7, 9, and 13 passengers. It is the 3-door Gurkha with a large wheelbase. The 5-door Gurkha will be propelled by a 2.6L turbo diesel engine with 91 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque. The same engine powers the Gurkha with three doors.
