The Toyota Urban Cruiser header is the Japanese automaker’s biggest new product launch in India. The mid-size SUV has been selling well, especially its hybrid variant. Now, the company is planning to launch three new models in 2023. Here are some key details of the upcoming new Toyota MPV/SUV.

Updated Toyota Innova Crysta

The redesigned Toyota Innova Crysta will be released by Toyota Kirloskar Motor next year. Its exterior and interior are anticipated to undergo minor modifications. The 2.4L diesel engine in the 2023 Toyota Innova Crysta will provide 360Nm and 148bhp of power. A 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission and a 5-speed manual transmission will be available. According to the most recent reports, the auto manufacturer will roll out a 2.7L, 4-cylinder petrol engine and a factory-installed CNG kit. The MPV’s CNG version will focus on the fleet sector and individual buyers. The Innova Crysta upgrade could eliminate the higher variations and make them only available in the lower variants.

Toyota Innova Hycross.

The Toyota Innova Hycross is essentially the new generation of the Innova Crysta with a new platform, SUV-ish stance, advanced technology and a hybrid powertrain. It will be launched in January 2023 at the Delhi Auto Expo. The MPV model lineup will come in five trims – G, GX, VX, ZX and ZX (O) and two seating configurations – 7 and 8-seater. New Toyota SUV coupe

The new SUV Coupe being developed by the Japanese automaker is now undergoing testing. The vehicle, scheduled to go on sale early in 2019, will be a rebadged Maruti Baleno Cross. The new Toyota SUV Coupe will probably get a few visual updates. Its design might take some cues from the global-spec Yaris Cross. It will be built on Suzuki’s Heartect chassis, much like the Baleno Cross, and have the revised 1.0L Boosterjet petrol engine. Mild hybrid technology or a higher level of electrification could be used to increase the motor. It is available with a manual or automatic transmission.
