2023 New Honda City facelift to be launched on March 2, Equipped with ADAS features

The Honda City is one of India’s most popular models in the sedan segment. Currently, its 5th generation model is being sold. Soon, the company will give a facelift update to this sedan, which will be launched on March 2 next month. There will be no significant change in the exterior look of this car. ADAS system is also going to be available in it.

Many changes will be seen in the new facelift of Honda City. It will also get new alloy wheels and a modified grille and bumper. Other updates include wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay connectivity, wireless phone charging, ventilated seats and many other changes. Currently, the ex-showroom price of the petrol version of the existing Honda City is between Rs 11.87 lakh to Rs 15.62 lakh. While its strong-hybrid City E-HV variant is available for Rs 19.88 lakh.

Special care has been taken for safety in the new Honda City. Driver-assistance tech (ADAS) in the hybrid variant of this car: 6 airbags, stability control, hill assist, forward collision warning, lane-keeping assist, Honda Sensing Suite, lane-watch camera, adaptive cruise control, rear parking camera, auto emergency Features like braking and ISOFIX child seat mount will be available. All these features can also be given in this car’s petrol variant.

The facelifted City will also retain the existing engine. It will get a 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine, although now its diesel engine has been dropped from the lineup. The City e-HEV Hybrid will continue to get the same 1.5-litre Atkinson Cycle petrol engine, which will be offered with an e-CVT transmission.

This car is going to compete with Hyundai Verna in the Indian market. Whose new generation model is going to come into the market soon? In this, along with many updates in the design, a big upgrade like the ADAS system will be seen.
