The new MG Hector will be introduced in the country on January 5, 2023. The company has started production of this model at its Halol, Gujarat plant. MG Hector has also touched the magic figure of one lakh production. By the way, this new updated Hector will see many exterior updates, changes in the cabin and new features.
Talking about the vehicle’s exterior styling, the SUV will get a mesh-type pattern on the front grille. Apart from this, the split headlamp setup will also be retained. Towards the bottom, there will be a redesigned bumper with chrome inserts. Along with this, changes will also be made to alloy wheels and rear lights.
The new Hector will also get a host of changes on the inside, including a more extensive 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, redesigned aircon vents, ambient lighting, a redesigned centre(middle)console with an electronic parking brake and a new (unique) gear lever. Will happen. We expect the new Hector to get ADAS features like the MG Aster and the MG Gloster.
However, the new version of MG Hector will remain mechanically unchanged and will be offered with the existing three engine options, which include 1.5-litre petrol, 1.5-litre petrol-hybrid and 2.0-litre diesel engine options. For transmission, six-speed manual, CVT and DCT units will be available as before.
