Morris Garages has introduced updated versions of the Astor and ZS EV SUVs for the global market. Many significant cosmetic changes have been made in the new models; their front end looks attractive.

2023 MG Astor and ZS EV Facelift Exterior
The new 2023 MG Astor and ZS EV Facelift get a redesigned grille and updated bumper. It has a diamond pattern and large side intakes. The headlamps with metallic inserts look sleeker than before. Some changes have also been made to the rear of the new cars. Apart from this, new sets of alloy wheels have been added to these cars. However, their side profile looks essentially the same as before.
Interior of 2023 MG Astor and ZS EV Facelift
The interiors of the new 2023 MG Astor and ZS EV have also been made luxurious. However, the SUV gets an excellent design with an extensive touchscreen infotainment system. The MG ZS EV is offered in India in exciting and Exclusive variants. The Exclusive variant gets a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, leather seats, 6-way power adjustable driver seat, power-folding and heated ORVM, rain-sensing wipers, PM 2.5 AC filter, iSmart EV 2.0 connected car features, 6-speaker audio system. And silver finish roof rails have been given.
Powertrain of 2023 MG Astor and ZS EV Facelift
The 2023 MG Astor and the ZS EV Facelift (MG VS HEV) are currently available in Thailand. Both these SUVs are available with hybrid powertrains. The 2023 MG Astor can offer 1.5L, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol and 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine options. The first of these generates 110bhp power and 144Nm peak torque. While the other generates 140bhp power and 220Nm peak torque.
Talking about the new 2023 MG ZS EV Facelift, a 50.3kWh battery pack can be used. The electric motor generates a power of 176bhp and a peak torque of 280Nm. It has been claimed to get a range of 461 km on a single charge.
When will the 2023 MG Astor and ZS EV Facelift be launched in India?
As of now, there are no official details on the India launch timeline of the new MG Astor and ZS EV Facelift. Currently, the price of the Astor SUV in India ranges between Rs 10.32 lakh to Rs 18.23 lakh. The MG ZS EV Excite and Exclusive variants cost Rs 22.58 lakh and Rs 26.50 lakh, respectively. Keep in mind that all these prices are according to the ex-showroom.
