2023 MG Astor Facelift, ZS EV Patents Leaked – Details

The most recent patent pictures display several exterior modifications that will be made to the impending ZS EV facelift.

The MG ZS EV is one of the most useful electric vehicles on the market, competing with models like the Nexon EV and the Kona electric. On the other side, the MG Astor provides buyers with a comparable package but also gives them the choice of an ICE powertrain.

Both automobiles are shortly anticipated to receive facelift upgrades, and the patent photographs of these forthcoming SUVs have appeared online, exposing crucial information and updates that the brand would provide with the facelift models.

The ZS EV now has a much sharper and more aggressive appearance than it had previously, according to patent photos of both of these SUVs’ facelift versions. If anyone is interested, it gets pronounced LED lights, a strong front bumper, and a closed front grille with a little air dam. Similar to how the rear of the SUV will get minor but noticeable modifications, the side profile of the SUV will also see modest alterations.

These improvements will offer the new ZS EV and the Astor SUV a more robust and assertive road presence. Along with the release of the new variants of the makeover, new colour options are anticipated to be offered in the market.

A new infotainment system, updated digital instrument console, and redesigned central console are the only interior improvements that are likely to be made. The dashboard layout is expected to remain the same. According to reports, the interiors of the redesigned ZS EV and Astor vehicles may be influenced by the interior of the MG 4 EV, which has a modern, streamlined appearance without any buttons or knobs in the centre.

On the feature front, MG is anticipated to offer the facelift versions with amenities like automated climate control, integrated mobile connectivity, a sizable sunroof, push-button start, ventilated seats, and more. The brand is also anticipated to provide greater safety technology, such as the ADAS suite, which will include elements like frontal collision avoidance, lane maintenance assist, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, rear cross-traffic aid, and driver attention monitoring.
