In the coming two years, Maruti Suzuki plans to introduce a variety of new SUVs. The Indo-Japanese car manufacturer will enter the electric vehicle (EV) market in 2025. The business is preparing to introduce three new SUV models, including the Brezza CNG variant, the Fronx small crossover, and the Jimny 5-door off-road SUV. An overview of the new Maruti Suzuki SUVs is provided below.

The Indo-Japanese automaker’s next compact crossover, the Maruti Fronx, has begun to arrive at dealerships. Its market debut is anticipated to take place in the following weeks. The Fronx will have two engine options: a 1.2L, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated gasoline engine and a 1.0L, 3-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine. It will be available in the Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta, and Alpha trim levels. There are both manual and automatic gears available. A SmartPlay Pro 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, voice recognition, wireless charging, a 6-speaker music system, a coloured MID in the instrument cluster, Suzuki-linked car technology, etc., are a few of its standout features.

The 5-door Maruti Jimny SUV is scheduled for sale in May 2023. The model lineup will be available in 4 versions across Zeta and Alpha grades. A 1.5L, 4-cylinder, K15B petrol engine with an idle start/stop mechanism will power all models. The motor’s maximum output is 103 bhp and 134.2 Nm of torque. It is available with a 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox or a 5-speed manual transmission. Suzuki’s AllGrip Pro 4WD system with a manual transfer case, a low-range transmission, and 2WD high, 4WD high, and 4WD low modes are standard on the new Maruti Suzuki SUV.

The Maruti Brezza CNG made its public premiere at the 2023 Delhi Auto Expo. The vehicle has a factory-installed CNG kit and a 1.5L K15C petrol engine. According to the manufacturer’s claims, the system produces 88 PS and 121.5 Nm of torque. The Brezza CNG is less potent and has more torque than the standard petrol variant. The vehicle delivers a 27km/kg mileage. Both a manual and automatic gearbox may be available for the CNG kit. It might be made accessible in 7 different variations. Its internal and exterior designs have stayed the same.
