Two-wheeler manufacturer Yamaha Motors has launched two new and updated scooters, Fascino and Ray ZR, in the Indian market. The company has kept the ex-showroom price of the new Fascino S 125 Fi Hybrid (Disc) variant at Rs 91,030. Ray JR has been launched in two variants, Ray ZR 125 and Ray ZR Street Rally. The price of Ray ZR has been kept at Rs 89,530, and the price of Street Rally has been kept at Rs 93,530. The company launched an updated version of its motorcycles like FZ, R 15 and MT 15 in the market some time ago.
The Yamaha Fascino and Ray ZR scooters get some cosmetic updates. This scooter has now been equipped with E20 fuel-compliant and OBD2-compliant engines with new colour options and features. This technology tracks real-time emissions.

These scooters now feature Bluetooth connectivity with the Wi-Connect app, app fuel consumer tracker, maintenance, last parking venue, malfunction notification, revs dashboard, rider ranking and many other features.
Available in these colours
These new scooters have been brought in a new colour scheme, in which the disc variant has been given a dark matte blue colour. While the Ray ZR Street Rally will be available in two new colours, Matte Black and Light Gray Vermilion. The existing colours of the disc and drum variants of the Ray ZR have been introduced in new graphics like matte red, metallic black and cyan blue.
Engine?
These now E20 and OBD2 compliant engines have been given in them. Both the scooters are powered by a 125cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled petrol engine that produces 8.2 PS of power and 10.3 Nm of torque. A smart motor generator system has also been given in this engine. The company says this scooter maintains stability during start-out while riding tandem or climbing uphill. The scooter also gets an automatic stop and start system and built side stand engine cut-off switch.
