After launching the Meteor 650, Royal Enfield is working on several products, one of which is the Royal Enfield Sherpa 650. The company may launch this motorcycle soon to strengthen its 650 cc segment further. However, the company still needs to disclose its launching date. Let us know about the possible features related to this bike.
The new Royal Enfield Scrambler draws power from a 648cc, parallel-twin engine. Its motor can generate a maximum power of 47bhp and a peak torque of 52Nm. The company can tune the engine to suit the needs of the cruiser motorcycle. It could come mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch.
The spotted prototype has an upside-down fork suspension at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. Stopping power will come from the front and rear disc brakes. The bike will get dual-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system) as standard fitment. It could also get a wire spoke wheel shod with dual-purpose tyres.
The new RE 650 cc bike could get a small flyscreen for protection from the wind. However, it could be a part of the accessory pack. The upcoming Royal Enfield Sherpa 650 could be the first 650cc model from the brand to feature a 2-in-1 exhaust system. It could get retro-styled circular headlamps, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank and a flat seat.
