A new scooter is going to enter the electric scooter segment soon. Okaya, famous for manufacturing and selling batteries, will soon launch its new electric scooter Faast F3 in the market. According to the information received by the company, this electric scooter will be launched on February 10. This will be the fourth electric scooter in the company’s vehicle portfolio. It is being told that its price can start from around Rs 1.14 lakh.
The company uses this scooter’s 3.5 kWh lithium battery with a dual battery setup. Switchable technology is being used in this scooter equipped with a 1200 W electric motor, which will help improve its battery life. In Okaya Faast F3, the company will include advanced features and technology.
This is the second scooter in the Faast range from Okaya, before which the company introduced the Faast F4. However, the company still needs to share official information about the driving range of this electric scooter. But it is believed that this electric scooter will give a range of up to 125 kilometres on a single charge. Other technical information related to this scooter will be told at launch time.
The company’s current scooter Faast F4 also comes with a dual LFP battery pack. The company claims this scooter gives a driving range of 140 to 160 kilometres on a single charge. Fast charging support has also been provided, due to which its battery gets fully charged in just 5 to 6 hours. Apart from this, three riding modes have also been given: Eco, City and Sport. Its top speed is 60 to 70 kilometres per hour. Equipped with a combi braking system and LED lights, the price of this scooter starts from Rs. 1.14 lakhs.
After coming into the market, Okaya Faast F3 will compete with models like Okinawa, Ola S1 Air, TVS iQube and Bajaj Chetak. In the last few years, there has been tremendous growth in the electric scooter segment in the country, with most automakers introducing more than one model. It will be interesting to see what other features are included in this scooter from Okaya.
