Classic Legends, the manufacturer of Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles, started the year 2023 with the launch of new colour variants for its best-selling products. Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has announced new colour options for two of its best-selling models – Jawa 42 Sports Stripe and Yezdi Roadster. The Jawa 42 Sports Stripe will now be available in a new Metallic Cosmic Carbon shade and is priced at Rs 1.95 lakh. While the Yezdi Roadster gets a new crimson dual-tone shade with a glossy finish, costing Rs 2.04 lakh. These prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
The Jawa 42 2.1 gets the same 294.72 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This engine is tuned to generate 27 bhp power and 26.84 Nm peak torque. The motor is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The Yezdi roadster gets a 334 cc single-cylinder engine tuned to generate 29 bhp and 28.95 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox and an assist and slipper clutch. Both bikes get disc brakes along with dual-channel ABS. Telescopic front forks and dual shock absorbers at the rear handle suspension duties.

Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has also announced plans to expand its dealer network to 500 outlets by the end of the 2022 calendar year. At present, the company has 400 touchpoints across the country. The Jawa and Yezdi brands compete with Royal Enfield motorcycles in the Indian market. This also includes bullets.
