This cheapest and most affordable bike has come to rule everyone’s heart, and Hero MotoCorp’s dominance in the 100cc bike segment in the Indian market continues. The company’s Hero Splendor is the best-selling bike in the country. But now difficulties may increase for Hero Splendor. Honda Motorcycle and Scooters India (HMSI) works on a 100-cc computer motorcycle. The company can launch this bike on 15 March. HMSI CEO and MD Atsushi Ogata have already revealed this bike, and the company has confirmed its launch on 15 March.
A new computer bike will be introduced by Honda at an event in Mumbai next month. This bike is unique; therefore, many people will like it. The company hasn’t revealed anything about the bike, though. Let us tell you that the company claimed in a video that the bike would offer a good mileage. Even the bike’s name has yet to be disclosed by the company. The company may keep using the brand “Honda Shine” due to the success of that model. In other words, its name may be Honda Shine 100.
Regarding this bike’s design, which is set to take over everyone’s heart, the 125 cc Honda Shine may be a design inspiration. The Honda 100 cc model might come equipped with amenities like a fully digital instrument cluster, which is unusual for entry-level computer motorcycles, to make it more appealing than the Hero Splendor.
Currently, the lowest-powered motorcycles from Honda are the CD 110 Dream and the Livo, powered by 110cc (109.51cc) engines. Hero has Splendor Plus and HF Deluxe compared to the company’s new bike. Let us tell you that it gets a 97.2cc engine which can produce around 8 bhp power and 8.05 Nm torque. Honda’s upcoming 100cc bike can also make power and torque figures around this.
