The Hero Xoom 110 scooter has finally been launched across the country. The model is offered in three variations, LX Sheet Drum, VX Cast Drum, and ZX Cast Drum, each of which costs Rs 68,599, Rs 71,799, and Rs 76,699, respectively. All of the aforementioned costs are ex-showroom. Beginning on February 1, 2023, reservations for the scooter will be accepted.
Five different colour variations are available to buyers. Polestar Blue is available in the Sheet Drum type, while Polestar Blue, Black, and Pearl Silver White are available in the Cast Drum variant. The Polestar Blue, Black, Sports Red, and Matt Abrax Orange paint schemes are available for the Cast Disc model.
According to the manufacturer, the Hero Xoom 110 scooter is the first in its sector to feature a “corner bend light” (Hero intelligent cornering light). It receives a lighting package with an LED bulb installed in the under-seat storage area, an LED projector headlamp, an LED taillamp, and other features. A semi-digital console and drum brakes on both ends are included in the standard variant, while a complete digital speedometer with Bluetooth connectivity is included in the higher variant. Turn-by-turn navigation, however, is not included. Additional features include a front glove box and a USB port.
The new Hero Xoom 110 scooter’s 110.9cc engine, which also powers the Maestro Edge, provides power. 8.15 the motor produces PS and 8.7 Nm of peak torque. Hero MotoCorp’s i3S (Idle Stop-Start System) and “XSens Technology” have improved it. The latter is credited with “increasing the performance, durability, reliability, and fuel economy.”
A telescopic fork and a mono-shock unit installed at the front and rear axles handle the suspension functions. The scooter sports 190mm disc brakes with 130mm drum brakes in the front and 130mm at the back. Furthermore, it has a Combined Braking System (CBS). It is the first vehicle in its sector to have larger, wider 90-section front and rear tyres and 12-inch wheels. The scooter offers a 770mm seat height and 155mm ground clearance. The ZX trim weighs 109kg, compared to 108kg for the LX and VX models.
This scooter of Hero will compete with the best-selling scooters in the country, Honda Activa and TVS Jupiter.
