Hero MotoCorp, under its electric sub-brand Vida, introduced its new electric scooter V1 in October this year. The company launched this scooter in 2 variants: Vida V1 Plus and Vida V1 Pro. The special thing is that today (30 October 2022), the company started customer delivery of its electric scooter VIDA V1 scooter.
Dr Pawan Munjal, Chairman and CEO of Hero MotoCorp, participated in this occasion. The first scooter was delivered in Bengaluru. The new VIDA V1 electric scooter is special from design to features.
Price, Variants and Features
The Vida V1 electric scooter has been launched in two variants. Its Vida V1 Plus on-road Delhi price is Rs 135,705, while the Vida V1 Pro is priced at Rs 146,880.
Features of Vida V1 Plus
The top speed of this scooter is 80 km. On a full charge, it can cover a distance of 143 km. It takes 3.4 seconds to accelerate from 0-40 km. This scooter can cover a distance of 1.2 km by charging for one minute.
Features of Vida V1 Pro
The top speed of this scooter is 80 km. On a full charge, it can cover a distance of 165 km. It takes 3.2 seconds to accelerate from 0-40 km. This scooter can cover a distance of 1.2 km by charging for one minute.
The scooter can be charged using a portable charger, which comes with the scooter. There are also public fast chargers that Vida is setting up. Plus, the battery pack is portable, so it can be taken out and charged at home.
Both the scooters sport a sporty design and have been specially designed keeping the youth in mind. The under-seat storage is very good in the scooter, where you cannot keep your essentials.
The Vida V1 will compete with electric scooters like the Ola S1 Pro, Ather 450X Gen3, Bajaj Chetak and TVS iQube.
