Revolt Motors will start taking bookings for its flagship electric motorcycle RV400 from February 22. The electric two-wheeler maker has informed us about the resumption of bookings for its e-bikes for the first time this year. At present, it has yet to be told by the company whether the price of the bike will be old or some changes will be made. But last year, after the FAME 2 subsidy, the Revolt RV400 was offered at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.07 lakh.
It has been informed by the company that any person can visit the company’s website to book the Revolt RV400. The company will take bookings of the bike through the website itself. The window for booking will be opened on February 22, and the bike can be booked for Rs 2,499.
The Revolt RV400 electric motorcycle features a 3kW mid-drive motor. With which a 3.24kWh lithium-ion battery will be available. This electric bike Revolt can be run up to 150 kilometres after a full charge. According to the company, there will be three modes for riding this bike, which will have Eco, Normal and Sports modes. In Eco mode, the bike will have a maximum speed of 45 kmph and a range of 150 km. In normal mode, the top speed will be 65 km, and the range will be 100 km, while in sports mode, the bike’s top speed will be 85 kmph and give a range of 80 km. Charging the bike from zero to 75 per cent will take three hours, while it will take 4.5 hours to charge from zero to 100 per cent.
The bike gets a ground clearance of 215 mm. Along with LED headlamps and LED tail lamps, LED indicators are also available in it. Upside-down forks are provided at the front, and mono-shock suspension is at the rear. The bike gets a dual disc setup with a 240 mm front disc and 240 mm rear disc. A combination braking system has also been given in it.
The company also gives a six-year or one lakh kilometres warranty on the bike’s battery. The entire product comes with a warranty of five years or 75,000 km. At the same time, a two-year warranty is available on its charger.
