Bajaj launches its new EV scooter, getting more limelight by changing the range, design and features than before

Bajaj Chetak is a scooter whose name has been running in the Indian market for many years, not just today. But with time, the company has also given a facelift to its scooter. Let us tell you that Bajaj Auto, the country’s leading two-wheeler manufacturer, has launched its only electric scooter Bajaj Chetak in its new avatar in the domestic market.

This Bajaj scooter has been launched with cosmetic changes, i.e. new design and many new features, as well as now this electric scooter will offer more driving range than before.

What is special in the new avatar of Bajaj Chetak?

The premium edition of Chetak has a brand-new appearance in the new avatar, and you can choose from three colour options: matte course grey, matte Caribbean blue, and satin black. The company has also included several strong features in this scooter, including a new all-colour LCD console that conveniently provides vehicle information. The luxury two-tone seat, body-coloured rear-view mirrors, satin black grab rail, and matching pillion footrest casting add to the classic appearance of the vehicle. The central trim pieces, blinkers, and headlamp housing all use a charcoal black colour scheme.

Bajaj Chetak Range, Battery and Charging time details:

The driving range of the updated Bajaj Chetak will also be more than before. According to claims about this scooter’s range, it can travel up to 108 kilometres on a full charge. The manufacturer provided a 2.88 kWh battery that produces 5.3 bhp and 20 Nm of peak torque for this scooter.
The Bajaj Chetak scooter has a metal body and charges completely in about 4 hours. One thing to keep in mind is that this electric scooter does not offer quick charging.

Bajaj Chetak booking started:

If you want to buy this scooter, its booking has also started, and the delivery will start in April. You can book it by visiting the dealership near you or by visiting the online website.

New Bajaj Chetak Price:

The company introduced the new Bajaj Chetak premium version and increased the price for the current model. It is still available for Rs. 1,21,933 (ex-showroom). However, the starting price of the Premium Edition Bajaj Chetak is Rs. 1,51,910 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru).

Bajaj scooters are present in more than 60 cities:

The Bajaj Chetak scooter is already available in more than 60 cities, and by the end of March 2023, the company hopes to have it available in about 100 stores spread over 85 cities. More than 40 stores also function as special experience centres, giving clients a unique experience.
