Mumbai-based electric mobility brand Liger Mobility has announced that it will showcase its first electric scooter at the Auto Expo 2023. Interestingly, this will be India’s first self-balancing electric scooter. This scooter feature can prove to be a game-changer in the segment. This will be a completely new experience for Indian customers.

More information about this scooter has yet to be revealed. The official images show that the e-scooter gets a neo-retro styling with an LED headlight unit that resembles Iron Man’s arc reactor.

Self-balancing boards have been used in the scooter whose frames are continuously active at the centre. Electric motors and sensors that sense the speed and the angle of inclination of the scooter, these sensors are used in both wheels. Gyroscopes receive data from the inclination sensors in the wheels and keep the board upright at all times, Keeping its relay in the logic board.

The company claims that “auto-balancing technology is equipped with first-in-segment features to provide an entirely new riding experience.”

The self-balancing liger electric scooter has retro styling, modern features, and technology. The overall styling of the scooter is mainly similar to the classic Vespa and Yamaha Fascino. The front of the scooter has been fitted with a delta-shaped LED headlamp mounted on the front apron. Additionally, horizontally placed LED daytime running lights have also been given on the top fairing. The round-shaped LED turn indicators are placed on the front cowl.

The electric scooter comes with an all-digital instrument console, an LED tail light, telescopic front suspension, a wide seat, alloy wheels etc. The scooter in the teaser is finished in Matte Red. For braking, disc brakes have been provided at the front of the scooter and drum brakes at the rear.
